AMPOWER at Southern Taiwan Science Park: Enhancing Facility Resilience

This year’s Science Park Facilities, Occupational Safety, and Environmental Protection Technical Seminar brought together teams from the Hsinchu, Central, and Southern Science Parks for a full day of focused exchange. 

After more than a year of preparation, the event opened on October 31 with sixteen exhibitor booths, seven keynote sessions, and paper presentations across five categories. The main focus was to share experience, strengthen technical capability, and improve the reliability, safety, and sustainability of science park operations.

Conversations Focused on Real Issues

The exhibition floor is often where practical discussions take place. Engineers, researchers, and EHS teams arrived at the booths with specific concerns, namely power disturbances, aging equipment, stricter safety requirements, and looked for solutions that could meet the demands of high-load, complex operations. These conversations highlighted both the current challenges facilities face and the issues they anticipate in the future.
