To honor Earth Day, AMPOWER encouraged employees to take part in two small but meaningful actions:
- Commuting by bicycle or public transportation
- Using reusable water bottles to reduce single-use plastics

At AMPOWER, passing on knowledge is part of our legacy. This spring, our engineering team partnered with Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) to host a lecture series. From backup power systems and PLTC™ load transfer technology to EPC integration for semiconductor facilities, the role of fuel cells and gas power in the green transition—our experts brought real-world insights into the classroom.

This year, AMPOWER will launch a tree-planting initiative—part of our broader vision to leave something lasting for the next generation. Over the next three years, AMPOWER will donate more than NT$1 million to provide Ankang Elementary’s basketball players with the gear, facilities, and learning tools they need to thrive. This initiative isn’t just about sport, it’s about supporting underprivileged children, removing barriers to opportunity, and safeguarding the dreams that might otherwise go unheard.

Invited to speak at the National Taiwan Ocean University symposium, AMPOWER shared real-world applications of biogas, hydrogen, and geothermal systems. In a joint effort with TSMC partners, AMPOWER helped deliver over 500 gifts and NT$350,000 in red envelopes to children at Hsinchu’s Jen-Ai Children’s Home and St. Teresa Children Center. With 70+ engineers and motorcycle riders dressed as Santa, it was more than a donation—it was a moment of joy, reminding us that engineering compassion is just as important as engineering power.
