On the evening of April 15th, Northern Taiwan faced a potential power outage crisis! The cause was the 403 Hualien earthquake, which resulted in multiple generator failures in various areas, particularly affecting the Hoping Power Plant and Taichung Power Plant, where repair work was further delayed due to aftershocks.

During the recycling process, approximately 98% pure hydrogen gas is produced. To avoid wasting this byproduct, Semisils sought assistance from AMPOWER to plan a hydrogen power generation solution.
